The floral borders are inspired by delicate rose motifs I’ve seen on Indian sarees - subtle yet regal. I created this piece to reflect the same softness I seek in my mornings - rooted, feminine, gentle, and structured. I use it not only when I eat, but also during my Ayurvedic hair oiling rituals, beauty self-care moments, or when journaling. To me, it’s more than a placemat - it’s a sacred base.
