Weekender Bag “Saathi” – Ruby Kolam

Where tradition meets boldness – this oversized weekender tote features my “Sikku Kolam” design in a deep ruby red, inspired by temple pigments and the color of ceremony. This version is a tribute to my father - a mathematician who sees beauty in geometry and the color "red". I gave him this one to carry his math books, and it suits him perfectly. Elegant, functional, and full of meaning.

I love how this bag transforms depending on how I use it – sometimes it’s filled with oils, sometimes with clothes for a performance trip. It always looks refined, no matter where I go. The white kolam on the ruby backdrop reminds me of South India’s morning doorsteps - quiet, sacred, and beautiful.
