Weekender Bag “Saathi” – Tribal Sand

This one feels like it came from a desert shrine.

I designed this oversized weekender bag for days that feel more rugged, wild, and earthy. The background is a warm, sun-aged sand tone - like ancient plaster walls or desert rock - detailed with primitive tribal animal motifs that remind me of the sacred art I saw across India, North Africa, and South America.

There’s something grounding about this bag. When I carry it, I feel like I’ve just returned from a sacred journey. It’s less polished than my kolam designs - more raw, elemental, and timeless.

In my van, it often holds my heavier items - like instruments, yoga blocks, or even groceries after a long market trip. I’ve taken it to mountain retreats and coastal hideaways. It blends into earthy spaces and always sparks curiosity. People often ask where it’s from - and I just smile.
